Ivan Gontijo

Born in Rio de Janeiro, on 10/08/1958, he graduated in Law from the Catholic University of Petrópolis, was a professor of Commercial Law at the Catholic University of Petrópolis and of Insurance Law at the Cândido Mendes Law School. 


He has been working in the insurance market for 37 years, having joined the Bradesco Seguros Group in 1985. In 1998 he was elected Legal Director of the Insurance Group. He currently holds the position of Chief Executive Officer of Bradseg Participações SA, Bradesco Seguros SA, Bradseg Promotora de Vendas SA, Bradesco SegPrev Investimentos Ltda. and BSP Affinity Ltda.


He is an effective member of the Board of Directors of Bradesco Vida e Previdência SA, Bradesco Capitalização SA, Bradesco Auto/RE Companhia de Seguros, Bradesco Saúde SA, BSP Empreendimentos Imobiliários SA, BSP Park Estajamentos e Participações SA, Odontoprev SA, Fleury SA and Companhia Brasileira of Service Management, in the latter he is also a member of the Appointment, Succession and Remuneration Committee. He serves as 1st Vice-President of the Board of Directors and member of the Management Board of the National Confederation of Insurance Companies – CNSEG and as a member of the Board of Directors of the National Federation of Insurance Companies – FENASEG.
