
Carlos de Paula is a native of São Paulo, a graduate of law and postgraduate in people management and also a broker at the National School of Insurance since 1994. He was an insurance and social security instructor and worked at BB Corretora, in the commercial area of Brasilprev SA and BBPrevidência Pension Fund.
In the Federal Public Administration, he was General Coordinator of Development, Director and Deputy Secretary at the Secretariat of Complementary Pension. Was responsible for the implementation of associative pension in Brazil. He was part of the team that coordinated the project of creation of the National Superintendence of Supplementary Pension, Previc, where he worked as Director of Technical Analysis and Superintendent. Participated in the IRB RE privatization project, as director and, later, vice president of people. He was twice a director at the Private Insurance Superintendence, Susep, and served as a member of the National Council of Private Insurance and the National Council for Supplementary Pension. Currently occupies the position of President of PREVDATA, Dataprev employees' pension fund.
