Marcelo Blay gives the opening lecture of the 2nd day of CQCS Insurtech & Innovation

The CEO of Minuto Seguros and vice president of the new Creditas insurance unit, Marcelo Blay, will be one of the speakers at CQCS Insurtech & Innovation. The event takes place on November 23rd and 24th, at Pro Magno Centro de Eventos, in São Paulo.

The executive considers participating in the event an excellent opportunity to debate and exchange ideas on everything related to the insurance ecosystem. “Like many other segments, our market has been undergoing a digital transformation that requires constant innovations in products and business models, in addition to the need to discuss changes in the sector’s regulation,” he said.

Marcelo Blay is a reference in the insurance market and created Minuto Seguros, the insurtech leader in digital insurance in Brazil, which was acquired in July this year by Creditas, the leading platform in credit and consumer solutions in Latin America.

Blay has already told CQCS that Minuto Seguros understands the combination of technology and quality human service as fundamental for attracting and retaining customers. “We have to be helpful, fast, transparent and efficient in all our processes. This demands investing in innovation, of course, but also in people, in teams of specialist insurance consultants”, he stressed.

For him, the agreement with Creditas will diversify and increase the offer of products, generating several new businesses that benefit both Minuto Seguros and Creditas clients and the insurance companies themselves. “Considering our history of success and the new possibilities arising from the merger with Creditas, Minuto has a lot to contribute by sharing experiences and learning with CQCS Insurtech & Innovation congressmen”, says the executive.

Blay also points out that Minuto Seguros has invested a lot in technology to make the customer’s life easier, both in the insurance quote process and when finalizing the purchase, renewing the policy and offering assistance whenever necessary. Thus, through innovative processes, an online platform was developed where customers can quote their Auto Insurance quickly and transparently, and “have access to products with an excellent cost-benefit ratio”.

Finally, the executive emphasizes that he wants to share this entrepreneurial journey so that he can serve as a source of inspiration for those interested or who are at a strategic crossroads. “Being able to count on events like this gives us even more input and connects us to think about the best solutions”, he concludes.
