SegFy, Insurtech winner of the Brazilian stage of the ITC World Tour, as a result of the partnership between CQCS and Insuretech Connect, received a millionaire investment from Porto Seguro, one of the largest companies in the Brazilian insurance market, through the Porto Ventures Investment Fund.
The objective of the agreement is to foster the growth of Segfy, which is currently one of the main companies in the sector that assists in all stages of insurance contracting, from the calculation to the management of policyholders, through a 100% online platform .
According to Gustavo Doria Filho, founder of CQCS and organizer of the event, it is very valuable that SegFy, which was elected the best insurtech of the Brazilian ITC World Tour, to take this step on its journey. “We are happy to have participated in this success story. Certainly, Marcos Roque Villa and his team will achieve an even more relevant position in the Brazilian insurance market”.
In the Brazilian stage of the ITC World Tour. Five Brazilian insurtechs, O2OBOTS, Komus, SegFy, Me Feel Safe and Fitinsur, participated in the competition. The startups participated in a pitch battle, which was won by SegFy. The event was attended by Murilo Riedel, CEO of HDI Seguros and Ney Ferraz Dias, General Director of Auto / RE at Bradesco Seguros, Luciano Snel, CEO of Icatu Seguros; and Marcelo Blay as mediator.
After the victory, SegFy competed with insurtechs from around the world ITC Global, the largest insurance innovation event in the world, which is a partner of CQCS.
